With the Wii-only sight, this item is pretty useless (unless you're using some god-awful weapon like the SAW24). When used with some weapons, the accuracy of the shots is increased.
Compensator This metal cylinder item is a compensator, which is a fancy word for "shock absorber for guns". Some weapons have this ability built into their GS ability, but it's generally handy to have when it pops up. Extended Magazine When you get this, your gun's magazine is temporarily doubled so you can fire more without reloading. The benefit is dubious if you can stomach playing through the game 30 times in a row in one night so you can level up several times with the Wii-only crosshairs on. For a brief moment, you get a set of crosshairs for your gun. The dot sight is the game's fix for that sightless mode. However, unless you have the zapper frame, this is impossible with the Wii remote. Dot Sight Normally, you can turn off your Wii-only sight for more points this means you aim like you would in Time Crisis (no sight). These are pretty rare, so claim them when you see them. First-aid Box As only Cindy Lennox (the hubba, hubba waitress from RE Outbreak) can understand, the first-aid box will heal your operative's life by a small margin. Go nuts with the gunfire and don't hold it to yourself to stay your hand on co-op mode. Each item you pick up is temporary or discarded (for first aid boxes) and you only have one. Just like House of the Dead, shoot the items to pick them up (note, for hostages, landmines, and time bomsb, use the action button). Through the game, you get different power-ups. Any weapons available are unlocked from the highest ranked profile on the Wii memory.

Up to 4 players can hit the Plus key to add themselves to the game in party mode, but player profiles will not earn experience. 30 minutes later, you can clear Ninja mode and unlock Bikini mode. You unlock ninja mode by clearing all missions in party mode. Party mode has a Ninja plug-in (shoot ninja stars) or a Party plug-in (shoot fluid on bikini clad women). Note that even if you are playing alone, having a second remote and a second gun helps your missions immensely (even if you cannot change fire modes with the D-pad). If you died and need to continue, press the Plus key and jump back into action. Defusing mines or countering hand-to-hand scenes is best done by rapid tapping of the action key. Detaining hostages is best done by holding the action button. For all actions, you either hold the action key or tap it rapidly. To reload, aim the remote off screen in practice, you flick reload and fire constantly. To exit menus, press the 2 button (brings up exit to main menu pop-up). After that, you can switch back to a different scheme if your button is wearing out. This lets you hammer spam the button and blast enemies until you reach Level 38 (out of 99), which pretty much means you unlocked one of the best weapons in the game.
The recommended control scheme is Type 2, which uses the fat ass A button to fire.

To get the best experience, you need to play on a PC using an emulator. Playing it that way with the cross hairs enables is fine but like all light gun games on the wii, not the ideal way because you are really moving the cross hairs around rather than aiming. It came out on the Wii allowing you to play it as a light gun game using the wii mote controllers and ideally the wii zapper controller. Especially when you upscale it using Dolphin or something similar. One of the reasons that I like it is that it is slightly more modern than a lot of light gun games so it looks great. There are 2 versions – Ghost Squad: Evolution re eased by Sega in the Arcades in 2004 and then Ghost Squad on the Wii which was released in 2007. Ghost Squad is one of my absolute favorite light gun games.
